Tovalisa Delin

Tovalisa Delin (born in Stockholm in 2000) is a dancer and choreographer whose multidisciplinary practice spans movement, sound, sculpture and text. Through improvisation, scores and somatic practices, she creates performance works and installations centred on fiction and the emotional body, often referencing dreams and recognisable situations within the absurd.

Her work examines the relationship between improvised movement and sound alongside themes of femininity, popular culture and the social construction of the body. She moves between glitches, noise and characters while exploring hierarchies between media and roles, and between instinct and constructed reality.

She holds a bachelor's degree in Dance Performance from Stockholm University of the Arts and has performed at venues including Den Frie Udstilling, Nørrebro Teater and MDT.
